North Africa

NODEPA operates in the North-African Maghreb; for the time being in Tunisia. Tunisia is a middle income-country that has struggles to develop further after the Arab Spring. The tourism sector was impacted greatly by the COVID pandemic and this sector is still recovering.

In Tunisia NODEPA represents a Norwegian travel agency looking to draw Scandinavian and American tourists to this part of the world and learn from its rich culture and history. This is done in partnership with a local partner.

NODEPA is also involved with several human development projects through partnerships with local associations. These focus on introducing the International Child Development Program (ICDP) to Tunisia, training local associations in an asset-based development method and supporting an international development organization with personnel.
