In East Africa, NODEPA is engaged in developmental work with a focus on capacity building. Even though the situation is improving in several areas, the shortage of qualified personnel is likely to be considerable for many years to come.

NODEPA currently provides specialized doctors and healthcareprofessionals touniversities, hospitals, and other health institutions. NODEPA also partners with a local NGO that does medical outreach in rural areas.
